Quick reminder of the keys for the DX7

Yamaha DX7 + MAX (4) chips - Quickstart

Create a new patch
- press FUNCTION firmly: FUNCTION CONTROL should appear
- press [10] VOICE INIT - YES - YES,
- DX7 is now in EDIT mode, but still no sound.

settings below are sometimes reset. MAX (4) misery i guess.
- press FUNCTION, [12] or [13]
- search for LIMIT KEY H and move slider UP
- search for LIMIT KEY L and move slider DOWN
- set [7] PORTA TIME to 0
- press EDIT/COMPARE to go to the EDIT mode

Operator levels:
- OP1 LEVEL is 99 by default, other operator volumes (2..6) are default 0.
- change OP LEVEL using OPERATOR SELECT and [27] OPERATOR OUTPUT LEVEL

Voice name:
- [32] VOICE NAME
- hold CHARACTER and enter the name
- select another edit key [#1 .. #31]

Save patch:
- MEMORY PROTECT: INTERNAL - OFF
- EDIT/COMPARE (check if the patch still sounds the same)
- MEMORY SELECT: INTERNAL
- STORE + [#]
