Automation

There are 2 different ways to record and playback button and fader settings.

Realtime Automation:
Record continuous fader and knob movements, and play them back the same way during the song. These "events" can be precisely edited/deleted/filtered afterwards. The memory bar shows the remaining amount of memory for events.

Scene Automation:
Take a snapshots of all of the knobs and faders settings, filter the settings you need, name the snapshot and use/reuse the snapshots anywhere in the song or another song, much like a Cue List for theater lighting. You can store more different knobs and fader settings in a Scene than with Realtime Automation. You can store 100 Scenes.

Realtime Automation

Record automation by switching on Automation, choose which Knob or Fader you want to record (only one at a time) for which Channels (you can also Punch-in and out), hit Record and touch the Fader to record it. The movements are stored in the Event List and can be edited.

Scene Automation

Store all of the current the knob, fader and effect settings into a memory location, called a Scene, by pressing the buttons STORE and then SCENE. A new Scene is time-stamped when you press the STORE button and created in both the Scene List and the Event List with the current knob and fader settings. You can filter the settings you want to use from that Scene, so some settings will be discarded. Scenes can be re-applied to different times.
